カイロプラクティック入門ガイド
カイロプラクティックという言葉は、手を意味するギリシャ語の 「cheir 」と、熟練した、またはそれに関わるという意味の 「practikos 」に由来しています。カイロプラクティックの語源は、1895年にD.D.パーマーがカイロプラクティックを創始した際に作った造語にまで遡ることができる。
カイロプラクティックは、トータルな健康とウェルビーイングのためにある。
カイロプラクターの仕事とは？
カイロプラクターは、背骨と神経系の健康と機能を専門とする医療専門家です。背骨に焦点を当てているため、多くの人がカイロプラクターは背中の痛み、首の痛み、頭痛にしか効果がないと思っています。しかし、カイロプラクティックは痛みだけではありません。

椎体亜脱臼
背骨と神経系は密接な関係にあるため、日々の歪みが脳と身体の間の情報の流れやコミュニケーションに影響を与えることがある。メッセージが脳に届かなかったり、不正確だったりすることもある。背骨の異常な動きが原因でこのような伝達ミスが起こった場合、カイロプラクターはこれを「椎骨サブラクセーション」、または「カイロプラクティック・サブラクセーション」と呼ぶ。
