Content for Canada

To make it easier for you to use our resource library without getting into trouble with Canadian advertising guidelines, we have been working to identify which of our products are acceptable for external marketing in Canada (i.e., on your website, emails, and social media).

Video Animations / Research

The following video animations and research articles are appropriate to use for external marketing in Canada.*

Headaches are a sign that something is not right. Your brain will create for you the sensation of pain if it thinks there is something wrong or if there is a potential problem.

Headaches

Headaches, like any pain in your body, are a sign that something is not quite right. Your brain will create for you the sensation of pain if it thinks there is something wrong.

Impact of Neck Pain

Did you know that people with neck had poor communication between their neck and their brains which meant that they weren’t as good at controlling their sense of balance.

Neck Pain

Up to half the world’s population suffers from neck pain at some stage. For some, one big problem is that it just keeps coming back, or becomes chronic.

* This section contains all the safe content for external marketing in Canada – to the best of our knowledge.

This section does not yet have many resources. We will be adding to it as we work through the animations and social media content with the members who have had feedback from the relevant authorities.

Please be patient with us as this takes time and a lot of effort! We will keep adding to this section as we discover which of our other whiteboard animations are acceptable to them! Each country sets its own rules about an acceptable level of evidence; hence this is a time-consuming process.

And remember, for in-house marketing, inside your office, ALL of our resources are safe to use – because you are there to be able to discuss the limitations of the various studies we present!

Please note that you are responsible for your advertising at the end of the day. However, to make things as easy on you as we can, we have created this section to compile content that we are as sure as we can be is ‘safe’ for you to use in external marketing in Canada (i.e., on your website, in emails, and social media). We have done our best to ensure these animations are compliant.

I hope this assists your informed decision-making process and helps you operate in compliance with professional standards and advertising laws in Canada.

Sincerely,

Heidi Haavik
